WHEN DOES THE REGISTRATION PERIOD END?
The period to register for MALAGA MARKETS ends on the 21st of September.
The only deadline that ends on the 31st of July is the one to register projects for selection in the MERCADOC PROJECT BOURSE.
Companies that register for MALAGA MARKETS as ATTENDEES and pay their attendance fees before the 31st of July will be entitled to a 20% discount.
WHERE DO COMPANIES REGISTER IF THEY ONLY WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN 2 OF THE 3 MARKETS?
If your question has to do with a company that wants to ATTEND two of the three markets, it only has to register once, since it will be attending MALAGA MARKETS. It will only have to fill in the form “ATTENDEES” once.
If your question has to do with the programmes the company wishes to register, in the case of a documentary or documentary project, it should fill in the “MERCADOC” form. If it wishes to register a feature film, it should fill in the “MALAGA SCREENINGS” form. If it wishes to register a TV programme, whether for the Last Productions or the Video Library, then it should fill in the “TV MARKET” form.
IF I WANT TO REGISTER A DOCUMENTARY FOR MERCADOC AND TV MARKET, DOES IT HAVE TO BE REGISTERED TWICE?
Documentaries cannot be registered for TV MARKET; only fiction and animation programmes for TV. If you wish to register a documentary you must do so with the MERCADOC form.

DO I HAVE TO PAY 120€ EVEN THOUGH ONLY ONE PERSON ATTENDS THE EVENT?
Yes, any company that wishes to attend MALAGA MARKETS has to pay a minimum of 120€, which allows the company to accredit two participants. If the company wants to register more than two participants, it will then have to pay 60€ for each additional participant.
WHERE DO I HAVE TO REGISTER A FULL LENGTH DOCUMENTARY FILM?
All documentaries must be registered for MERCADOC irrespective of their length.
CAN I PRESENT A DOCUMENTARY IF IT IS NOT YET FINISHED? OR A FULL LENGTH FILM OR TELEVISION PROGRAMME?
There are two possibilities to register a documentary project:
a) The MERCADOC PROJECTS BOURSE
b) The MERCADOC Video Library (as WORK IN PROGRESS)
If you wish to have it registered in both sections you must fill in the “MERCADOC” form twice: one marking the option “Projects Bourse” and the other marking the option “Video Library”.
You will also have to send the documents requested in each case (See conditions attached to the “MERCADOC” form for each case).
In the case of a feature film project it can be registered in the MALAGA SCREENINGS Video Library (as WORK IN PROGRESS).
Finally, if you wish to register a television programme project, you can do so in the TV MARKET Video Library (also as WORK IN PROGRESS).

IF I AM FOR MERCADOC BUT NOT FOR MALAGA SCREENINGS, CAN I STILL ATTEND THE SCREENINGS AT THE MULTIPLEX?
All buyers (MALAGA SCREENINGS, MERCADOC and TV MARKET) and MALAGA SCREENINGS sales agents can attend the screenings at the multiplex theatre.

The Airport is only 8 km from the city.

CAN I SUBMIT A PHOTOGRAPH OF MYSELF AT THE EVENT?
You can, and you can even register directly at the event. But if you register and send us the photograph before the 21st of September, not only will your particulars appear in the Official Catalogue, but you will also avoid having to wait in line. There will be an accreditation desk for registrations made through the WEBSITE and paid in advance and another desk for accreditations of participants without a photograph and who have not paid in advance. In addition, attending companies who register before the 31st of July will be entitled to a 20% discount

CAN I REGISTER A DOCUMENTARY PRESENTED AT PREVIOUS EDITIONS AS A NEW ONE IF IT IS PRESENTED BY ANOTHER COMPANY?
The only difference between registering a documentary as a previous edition or not is that if it was registered before, you will not have to fill in the whole form again, only the information that has changed (in your case, the company presenting the documentary). Both documentaries registered before and new ones will appear in the catalogue “MERCADOC: Documentaries at the Video Library” with all relevant information.

HOW DOES THE MALAGA MARKETS VIDEO LIBRARY WORK? IS IT A SINGLE LIBRARY OR IS THERE ONE FOR EACH MARKET?
MALAGA MARKETS will have three video libraries: one for MERCADOC (for documentaries registered with the “MERCADOC” form, through the Video Library option); another one for MALAGA SCREENINGS (for all feature films registered with the “MALAGA SCREENINGS” form, through the Video Library option); and another one for TV MARKET (for all TV programmes registered with the “TV MARKET” form, through the Video Library option).
At each video library, daily screening reports drafted by buyers will be handed out to all seller companies attending the market. Furthermore, after MALAGA MARKETS, these reports will be sent by e-mail to all participants who registered documentaries, feature films or TV programmes, whether or not they attended the event.
